2.1 Demonstration site:
2.1.1 Player Demonstration
The Player Demonstration is freely accessible by the public. It is composed of three parts:
(A) Purchasing a tee-time. (C) Joining Golf club. (D) My account.
(A) Purchasing a tee-time
- Login - username and password (member)
Members can login with a history of previous transactions, previous club tee-times booked etc. (see ?My Account? section C below). A Member can proceed
from step ii. below and login at any time to make a booking.
- Search for a tee time / Select tee time (guest player)
Any player can search for a tee-time in the database without having to login first i.e. a guest can select tee-times to book. Searches can be performed by club
name, location, distance from a location (provisional), time, date, cost etc.
- Enter player details (name and email)
Once selected a tee-time can be purchased by a guest entering their name and email address.
- Confirm player details
- Accept Terms and Conditions
Terms and Conditions will include a general Golf Company Terms & Conditions with an additional T&C for each club where necessary.
- Pay for tee time
Online payment is automatically processed by a payment service provider such as Barclaycard Merchant Services.
(B) Joining the club
- General users
Any user can ?join the club? at a minimal fee and obtain additional benefits, such as the online discount, email alerts etc. The user will need to input the same
Information as above (step iii), plus additional information such as postcode, handicap (if applicable) etc.
- Invited users
Other users who have received an ?invitation to join? can go to a dedicated page (not accessible from the website) and register using the process above
in step iii. However this time they do not have to pay a membership fee
(C) My Account
A registered Player can administer the following details:
- My details
Name, e-mail, phone etc.
- My bookings
Information of previous tee-times booked, payments etc.
- My e-mail alerts
Alerts of special offers, newsletter subscription etc.
- My golfing buddies (provisional)
List of buddies/partners the user has played with before.
2.1.2 Club demonstration
Access to the Club demonstration will either be:
by invitation: System will invite all clubs to view the demo by giving them a default username and password (via email/letter). They can then log in through the login
Procedure and view the demo.
by registration: all clubs have to register to see to the demo, i.e. name, club name, and email, therefore registering and setting their status to ?enquired? in the database.
When they decide to participate they can login, fill in more details, and change their status to ?participating?.
The admin area for the club needs to be as simple, intuitive and as straightforward as possible. The Club demonstration is composed of four parts:
(A) Tee-time admin; (B) Club admin; (C) Club mini site area (provisional); (D) Player admin.
(A) Tee-time admin
- Login - username and password (Registered club)
Each club will have a username and password to access their account securely. This can either be sent out by TOGC or requested via the website by a club.
- Manage tee-times
Once logged in the club should see their home page which will highlight the following history:
? Tee times Available (at their club)
? Tee times Booked (?)
? Tee times Played (?)
- A 'manage tee times' options will be available in the menu. This will allow them to change the status of any live tee time that is either set to Available,
Booked or Played.
- Upload tee-times
The club can upload many tee time... also can set its repeat duration for weekly, monthly, yearly etc

(B) Club Admin
The clubs details can be changed from here: Contact details, Directions, Dress Code, Terms and conditions etc.
(C) Mini site (provisional)
When a player searches for a club, it opens a page that contains details of the course history. The club can update this page from the admin area. A small secondary

(D) Player Admin
Clubs can search for a Player?s details etc. phone, email etc.
2.1.3 Master Administration area
The Online Golf Company manages the Master Administration area. It allows control of all details held on the site and overrides all administration areas for players
and clubs.
It controls all:
